Our more than 66 million annual visitors aren’t just good for the tourism industry, they’re good for our entire economy. In fact, in the past year, tourists paid over $436 million in sales taxes. Their payment of over $294 million in annual tourist development taxes improve our infrastructure and help build many of the public venues we residents enjoy. They are the reason our population and businesses not associated with tourism are thriving, too. The bottom-line is: tourism creates jobs, businesses and a better quality-of-life for everyone who lives here. Including you.
